Description

Timbers is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. The building features modern cement rendering over an earlier timber frame. The gabled end to the south showcases exposed timber-framing, a framed chimney, and a blocked two-light mullioned window. It is one storey with an attic, and includes three casement windows and two gabled dormers. The eaves are plain, and the roof is tiled. Inside, the ground floor has exposed ceiling beams. At the time of inspection in 1982, the cottage was unoccupied.
