Description

Reeve End Cottage is a small detached cottage, likely dating from the 14th century, originally designed as an aisled hall but significantly altered and reduced to about half its original length. The cottage features roughcast cladding over a timber frame structure and is one storey high with an attic. It has a 20th-century tiled roof with plain eaves. The exterior includes one 20th-century casement window and a 20th-century doorway. Inside, all the aisle posts have been removed, but the arcade plate and part of one wall plate remain visible. The roof structure consists of a collar and tie-beam truss with a central strut and curved windbraces.
