Description

Riverdale is a late 18th-century town house located to the rear of a garden, set back from the street. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and brick stacks at each end. The house is three storeys high and has three bays. It features sash windows, many of which retain glazing bars. The doorway is distinguished by engaged Doric columns, an entablature, and a simple segmental fanlight. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The property was formerly known as Dr Abbey’s House.
