Description
Prospect Place is an 18th-century building that underwent alterations and refronting around 1810. It is constructed of painted brick and stands two storeys high, featuring five sash windows with plain lintels. The entrance is marked by a Doric portico that previously had paternae in the frieze, along with a moulded wood pilaster doorcase that includes consoles and a rectangular fanlight. The building has bold lined eaves and a hipped slated roof. At the rear, there is extensive 19th-century stabling, which is not included in the listing, and the site was formerly known as a training stable for racehorses.
