Description

25-27, Chetwynd End is a late 17th-century structure with a Regency refronting. Originally a single house, it is now divided into three dwellings. The building is two storeys high, with slightly projecting end bays featuring plain, radiused pilasters on their sides. There are four sash windows in total. A French window is centrally positioned beneath a slated pentice, and a balcony with turned wood balustrading sits above a wood lattice porch. A plain doorway incorporates a radial fanlight and a partially glazed door. The building has overhanging eaves and a low-pitched slate roof. The interior has been significantly altered, but some exposed ceiling beams remain in the ground storey.
