Description
Chetwynd End House is a mid-19th century stuccoed house located on the east side of Chetwynd End. It features a low pitched slate roof with pedimental gable ends and stands two storeys tall. The building has three bays, distinguished by giant pilasters and an entablature with a moulded eaves cornice and wreathes on the capitals. The centre bay is narrower and includes a small broken pediment. The sash windows are adorned with moulded architraves and cornices on the ground storey and the centre first storey windows; the cornice of the centre first storey is supported on console brackets. There is a central pilastered doorway with an entablature, and the house has stuccoed end stacks with caps, as well as contemporary wings at the rear.
