Description
York House is a brick house from around the 18th century, which has been painted, with an early to mid-19th century brick wing. It features plain tile roofs with gabled ends and is two storeys high, arranged in an L-shape. The south wing consists of three bays and includes a two-storey porch at the angle, which has corner pilasters and a hipped roof. The right-hand (north) projecting gabled wing is a long range that extends to the west. The house mainly has sash windows with glazing bars and rusticated voussoir heads. The porch doorway is adorned with panelled pilasters and a hood supported by console brackets, and there are brick ridge stacks.
