Description

Adams' Almshouses, built in 1657 and significantly restored in 1821, consist of two identical plain gabled buildings, each divided into two tenements. The structures feature stone gables and side pilasters, along with two early 19th century casement windows and two plain doorways from the same period, which have ledged, iron-studded doors. The roofs are covered with slates. Each gable has an inscribed stone tablet indicating the date of restoration.
