Description

69, Bower Yard is a modest 17th-century cottage that has been altered in later periods. The original timber frame is visible beneath roughcast render and brickwork. The cottage is one storey high with an attic. It has one 19th-century casement window and a small, later canted oriel window, both fitted with modern shutters. The doorway is plain, and there is a gabled dormer window. The roof is tiled and has sprocket eaves, with brick stacks marking the chimney positions.
