Description

Ladywood Cottage, formerly the Station Master's house, dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of russet brick and stands two storeys high. The building features two casement windows with triangular heads and moulded brick hood moulds. There is a plain doorway that has a modern door and porch. The cottage also has two small gables, modillion eaves, and tall clustered chimney stacks with yellow brick dressings. The roof is tiled.
