Description
Dudmaston Hall is a 17th-century Queen Anne mansion set in an attractive park featuring lakes and conifers, with a long and impressive front facing west towards the River Severn. The building is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and has two storeys. It features sash windows that are framed by moulded stone architraves. The attic has pediments with projections on either side of the entrance to the east, which are likely from the 19th century, and there is a raised balustrade in the center. The facades are somewhat diminished by the lack of glazing bars on the windows. Inside, there is a large panelled entrance hall and a later Georgian staircase. Additionally, there is a large 19th-century office and stable wing designed in an "Elizabethan" style, which includes mullioned lattice casements and tall "Tudor" stacks.
