Bourton Manor is a large house dating from 1874, designed by the architect Norman Shaw. The house is constructed of red brick and plasterwork, exhibiting Shaw's characteristic style of rambling, multi-gabled designs. It incorporates an older stone cottage, likely from the 16th century, and features a staircase in a Queen Anne style.
