Description

North Gate is a building dating to around 1740, with alterations circa 1910. It is a sandstone structure incorporating plain brickwork, and takes the form of a single-storey building with three arches spanning the road. The building has battlements along the top. It features three transomed mullioned windows with trefoil-headed tops. An adjoining building is situated above a piazza. North Gate forms a group with numbers 21 to 25 on the same side of the road.
