Description

Donington House is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick on a stone plinth, with cellars beneath, and has a double-span tiled roof with coped verges and end stacks. The house is three storeys high and features a moulded stone eaves cornice. Brick end piers have plastered capitals, and there are five windows with flush framed glazing bar sashes and horns, each with a gauged brick flat head and moulded plaster keystone. The central entrance has a six-panel door under a rectangular overlight, set within a plain pilastered doorcase topped with a pediment.
