Description

This is a disused ice house located approximately 70 metres southeast of Attingham Park, likely built in the late 18th century. It features a red brick dome covered by an earth mound, which is illuminated by two circular lights with grilles. Access is provided via an L-shaped barrel-vaulted tunnel that leads from the northwest, descending six stone steps to a boarded door. Inside, there is a barrel-vaulted passage that leads to a domed chamber.
