Description
Longden Wood Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse with later additions and alterations. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof featuring raised verges and end stacks. It is two storeys high with a gable-lit attic, and has a dentilled eaves cornice. The front façade has a 2-window arrangement; the windows are glazing bar sashes with plastered heads, although the upper right window is now blocked. A half-glazed door is situated centrally, sheltered by a late 19th-century gabled wooden porch. Mid-19th century additions were made to the left and right sides of the original building.
