Description

St Owen's Well is the site of an ancient spring, recorded as early as the sixth century. It is marked by an opening and an inscribed stone tablet set into the base of a restored rubble wall on the east side of number 5 Much Wenlock Queen Street. A late Victorian gabled well-house of stone formerly stood on the site.
