Description
The chapel at Coton Hall, dating from around 1760, is currently roofless and constructed of stone. It features a blend of Classical and Gothic architectural styles. The east window is designed in a Venetian style with an ogee centre light, while the moulded eaves cornice adds to its decorative elements. The west window and lateral windows are pointed, and there is a quatrefoil opening in the west gable. Inside, there are remains of delicate moulded plaster work in the splay of the east window, along with a plaque on the east gable. Additionally, there is a baluster shaft from an 18th-century font.
