Description

Oakland Lodge is an early 19th-century building constructed of red brick with a slate roof featuring gabled ends. The structure stands three stories tall and has three sash windows with glazing bars, each topped with flat stuccoed arches and keyblocks. The central entrance is framed by a pediment that includes a moulded cornice and dentils, flanked by two Tuscan pilasters supporting entablature blocks. The door is flush-panelled and glazed. At each end of the building, there are brick chimney stacks capped with Victorian stone.
