Description

Little Marston is a late 14th century west wing that was reconstructed in the 17th century. The building is made of rubble and consists of one storey and an attic, featuring casement windows and a slate roof with a gable end. It retains a cruck truss and has an imported late 14th century timber frame porch that is gabled and two storeys high, with an oversailing upper floor supported by heavy brackets. The entrance has a two-centred arch. The main block of the house is constructed of late 19th century brick.
