Description

Knill Bridge Cottage is an estate cottage built in the early to mid-19th century. It features a timber frame with herringbone brick nogging and a Welsh slate roof. The cottage has a T-plan layout with a central entrance on the northeast front and a gable-end stack on the southeast side. It is a single storey with an attic. The entrance front includes two gabled dormers, each with 2-light leaded casement windows. There is a central gabled porch with a ledged door, flanked by two 2-light part leaded casement windows. The upper floor of the northwest gable end overhangs and is supported by four struts. This cottage forms a pair with a similar cottage located approximately 15 meters to the northeast.
