Description
High House is an early 19th-century building located in Upper Sapey. It is constructed of stucco and stands two storeys tall. The facade features three sash windows with glazing bars and architraves, while the ground floor windows are adorned with hoods supported by console trusses. The first floor is highlighted by flat pilasters, and the ground floor showcases horizontal rustication. A large porch with four Ionic columns enhances the entrance. The roof is slate and hipped, with bracketted overhanging eaves. Additionally, there is a north wing that has a timber frame and is faced in brick.
