Description

The windmill at Hillsyde House, built around 1820, is a brick structure featuring a flat roof and a battered round tower that consists of five stages. The windows are iron casements set in chamfered reveals with segmental heads. On the southeast side, there are a pair of close boarded doors leading to a brick and stone loading platform, with four casements located above. The southwest side has one casement, while the northeast side features a casement on each of the top four stages. The northwest side has one casement, with an additional casement located only on the third stage above.
