Description
The stables at Stainfield Hall are a pair of structures built in the early 18th century and early 19th century. They are constructed from red brick and feature slate and corrugated iron roofs. The early 18th-century west block has five bays, with a doorway on the right that has plank double stable doors and a segmental head. This doorway is flanked by single shuttered openings, with another opening to the left, all featuring segmental heads. There is also a doorway on the left with a flat head and a sliding door, along with an oval opening above and a corrugated iron roof. The 19th-century south stable block consists of eight bays, with a doorway on the left that has plank double stable doors, flanked by single shuttered openings. To the right, there is another doorway with plank double stable doors, two shuttered openings beyond it, and another doorway with plank double stable doors. There is a single shuttered opening to the right, and all openings have wooden lintels.
