Description

The lampstand at the Church of St. Chad was erected in 1897 and is made of cast iron. It features a fluted tapering shaft with a decorative top that includes a fleur de lys on a shield at the center, topped with a glass lantern. Originally a gas light, this lampstand was created to commemorate Queen Victoria's Jubilee. It is listed for its group value only.
