Description

These are a row of mid-18th century houses on London Road, originally comprising four separate buildings. They are constructed of red brick and each house has three storeys and three windows. Most windows have glazing bars, though some have been replaced with modern windows that are not original sash windows. Each pair of houses has a parapet.

Numbers 13 and 14 feature plain glazed fanlights above their six-panel doors. Number 12 has a projecting porch with a Roman Doric design, featuring open modillion pediments and wrought iron ornamental guards to the second-floor windows. Number 11 has a two-storey, one-window modern bay. It also has a radiating fanlight above a six-panel door with four panes of glass, and a cornice hood supported by brackets. There are iron railings to the basement.

Numbers 2 to 7 (consecutive), 7A, 8, 9, and 11 to 29 (consecutive) form a group.
