Description

A row of seven cottages, now six shops, dating from the mid-17th and early 18th centuries, with 19th and 20th-century additions. The building is constructed of squared dressed stone and brick, partially rendered, with pantile roofs. It features three ridge stacks, two rear wall stacks, and two gable brick stacks. There is an incomplete rendered plinth.

The building is two and two-and-a-half storeys high, with seven bays. Number 108 has a moulded wooden doorcase with a cornice, and an 18th-century bow window to its right. The other cottages have later 19th- and 20th-century wooden shopfronts. A plain doorway has a 19th-century door, with a reset medieval corbel positioned above it. The upper floor displays two plain sashes to the left, flanked by two 20th-century casements, and a single 20th-century tilting casement to the right. Further right are a two-light sliding sash and a fixed glazing bar light. Above this, to the right, is a gabled dormer with a 20th-century window.

Interiors have beaded and chamfered spine beams with run-out stops.
