Description
Firsby Manor House is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of red brick with colourwashed stucco dressings and features slate roofs with two gable stacks and two additional stacks at the rear. The building has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys high with a five-bay front that includes a first-floor band.
The central doorway is framed by a simple pilastered doorcase, topped with a wedge lintel and an overlight, leading to a partially glazed door. On either side of the doorway, there are two glazing bar sashes, and above, there are three more glazing bar sashes, all featuring cambered heads and wedge lintels. The west front has three bays, with two mid-19th century bays attached to the left. To the right, there is another doorway with a pilastered doorcase, a small bracketed hood, an overlight, and a panelled door. To the left of this doorway, there are two glazing bar sashes, with two more beyond, and five additional sashes above, all also with cambered heads.
