Description
The Elms Farmhouse is a late 18th century farmhouse that has undergone some changes in the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables and gable stacks. The building has a T-plan layout and stands two storeys high with a three-bay front. The front includes a plinth and a central bay that has a giant order, which is recessed and features a blind, semi-circular headed arch. The central doorway is fitted with a partially glazed door and is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. Above the doorway, there is a small fixed glazing bar window, along with a similar small 20th-century window positioned slightly above to the right. The outer bays also contain single glazing bar sash windows, all of which have segmental heads.
