Description
The stable block at Thoresthorpe Manor House is a late 18th-century building that also includes a granary above. It is constructed of brown red brick and features a corrugated iron roof. The structure is two stories high with a three-bay front and a band at the first floor level. The central stable door is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows, all of which have cambered brick heads. The granary on the first floor has two shuttered openings at the eaves. There is a doorway in the gable that provides access to the granary, and above this are three flight holes leading to a pigeon loft. Inside, the stable retains its first floor and three stalls with mangers.
