Description
Boothorpe Farmhouse and Boothorpe Farm Cottage are two dwellings built in the mid-18th century, with a later extension from the 19th century. The buildings are constructed of red brick and feature a brick band, dentilled eaves, crow stepped gables, and a plain tile roof with a central ridge stack. The main structure has a T-shaped plan, with its head parallel to the road. It is two storeys high and has two windows on the front, which are 3-light casements, along with a central door that has flat lintels. On the left end, there is a 2-light casement on both floors. At the rear, there is a wing with an end stack, additional casements, and a door. To the right of the front, there is a taller 19th-century extension with an end stack, which is also two storeys high and has one window with 3-light casements that have cambered lintels, along with a 20th-century door.
