Description

No. 51 on High Street is an early 19th-century building with later 19th-century additions. It features a red brick facade with an eaves cornice and a parapet, along with end chimneys. The building stands three storeys tall. The top floor has three sash windows with late 19th-century glazing, set under segmental red brick arches that include keystones. The lower two floors have outer stone bows that rise two storeys each, ending in shaped parapets with finials. Each floor has two unbarred sash windows. The central door is accessed by steps and has a round drained fanlight with tracery, framed by a stone doorcase with a curved top.
