Description
The Coach House at Wistow Hall is a Grade II listed building from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red and buff brick in a chequer pattern, topped with a hipped roof made of Swithland slate. The eaves are moulded brick. The central gable rises to two storeys, while the rest of the structure is a single storey. The central gable features two pairs of carriage doors with brick cambered lintels and keystones, along with a band above. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casements with cambered lintels and long straight hood moulds above. Above these is a blind bull's eye window. To the left, there are three 16-pane windows, also with brick cambered lintels and keystones, and two plank doors in between. To the right, there are four 20th-century garage doors. A 19th-century two-storey addition is located at the rear, and there is a cobbled yard in front of the building.
