Description
Stockerston Hall is a country house, likely built in 1792, with foundations dating back to the 17th century. The building is constructed of red brick, featuring a stone plinth, rusticated stone quoins, and stone dressings, topped with a hipped roof made of Welsh slate and various brick ridge stacks. It has a band, cornice, and parapet. The house has two storeys with five 6/6 sash windows, which are adorned with stone lintels that include keystones. The side windows are set within wide giant blind arches that have segmental heads. The central window on the first floor has a stone frame supported by pilasters and an entablature. Below this window is a flat-topped rectangular porch, which is supported by two Roman Doric columns and features an entablature and blocking course. The porch contains a two-leaved part-glazed door. To the rear right of the house is a two-storey wing. The cellar has stone walls and a blocked stone mullion window.
