Description
33 and 34 High Street is an early 18th-century building with a facade made of red brick and a moulded wooden eaves cornice. The roof has been retiled. The building is two storeys tall and features three windows. The outer two upper windows have boxed frames with cambered head linings and glazing bars. The centre window on the first floor is a canted oriel bay, while the centre section of the building is advanced and has one window. There are three small symmetrical shops from the 19th century, each with small canted bays, the centre bay being larger, all situated under an entablature with a cornice and architrave. The building has three doors and side pilasters adorned with Greek Key designs around the doors and windows. Note that the glazing bars are missing.
