Description

This is a manor house with possible medieval origins, but significantly altered in the late 17th century and again in the 19th century, specifically around 1860. The house is constructed of red brick, with some areas using a chequered pattern of red and black brick, and has a high rubble stone plinth and a Welsh slate roof. A brick stack is located towards the centre-right of the roof, and another at the left end. A horizontal band runs across part of the facade.

The two storeys feature a mix of windows, notably three 2-light wooden mullion and transom windows, and four-light casement windows, alongside a 2-light casement, a 3-light casement, and another 2-light wooden mullion and transom window. To the left-hand side is a single-storey extension with a blind window, a 1-light casement, and a 3-light casement. A further outbuilding extension is located to the left of this. The right-hand end of the building has 2-light and 3-light casement windows, and gables with decorative bargeboards. The interior was not inspected in 1984.
