Description
The stables located at the rear of Skeffington Hall were built around 1870. They are constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and feature a Welsh slate roof. The main range is two storeys high and consists of six bays, with outer gables that include two 2-light mullioned and transomed windows on the ground floor and three-light windows above. In the central range, there are two 6-light top-opening casements. A string course runs continuously across the façade at the first-floor level. The west gable apex has a round window. At the rear, there are projecting wings, with the eastern wing featuring two 2-light mullioned windows on each ground floor wall and three-light windows in the first floor of the gable end, which also displays a shield of arms in the gable apex. The building has axial stone stacks.
