Description

Tutbury Bridge is a bridge built between 1815 and 1817, constructed from sandstone ashlar. It features banded rustication and has five depressed segmental arches, with piers that include round-arched niches and short curved cutwaters. A bold stringcourse runs along the bridge, topped by a coped parapet wall. The piers project slightly, and the walls curve outward at each end.
