Description
Lady Leys Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with additions from the 19th century and minor alterations from the 20th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring gauged brick and stone dressings, and has a plain tile roof with brick gable stacks and a stepped eaves band. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays arranged in an L-plan. The central doorcase includes a 20th-century panelled door with a divided overlight. Flanking the door are 20th-century 3-light casement windows, and above, there are two similar windows along with a central 2-light window. All openings are adorned with flat gauged brick arches that have stone keyblocks. Inside, the farmhouse features a stick baluster staircase and inglenook fireplaces.
