Description
Number 25 is a house that has been converted into offices, and it features an attached wall. It was built in the early 19th century, with later additions from the late 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed from coursed millstone grit with tooled dressings and has a stone slate roof, along with two stone end stacks.
The exterior is two storeys high with an attic, and the street front is rendered. It has an almost symmetrical arrangement of two windows. The doorway is off-centre and features a 20th-century door set in a flush ashlar surround, flanked by single plain sash windows. Above, there are two plain sash windows, all within flush ashlar surrounds. The left side of the building has a blocked tall opening at the first floor level, with a single plain sash window above it. The right side has a ground floor with an elongated 20th-century window opening. At the rear, there is a 19th-century parallel extension with an end stack.
The interior has not been inspected. The adjoining wall to the left includes a doorway with a flush ashlar surround and a plank door.
