Description

8 and 10 High Street is a mid-17th century house that has been subdivided. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble and has two storeys with attics. The building features four modern casement windows set in defaced moulded reveals. There are two chamfered, square-headed doorways, one of which has a later moulded stone hood supported by brackets. The house also includes two gabled dormers with defaced mullioned lights and obelisk-headed finials, along with angle dressings and tiled roofing.
