Description
No 1 High Street is a building dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, likely serving as a barn or farm outbuilding. It is constructed from coursed stone rubble and features a large single-storey design positioned at right angles to the street. The building includes four mullioned windows with two and three lights, as well as two chamfered square-headed doorways. It has angle dressings and gabled ends topped with ball-head finials, and is covered with tiles. There is a modern doorcase and steps leading to the gabled end facing the street.
