Description
Fleet House is an early 19th-century house constructed of ashlar with a slate roof featuring kneelers and end chimneys. The building has two storeys and three windows on the first floor, which are unbarred sashes, while the ground floor has French casements with margin lights. A central trellis porch with a tented canopy enhances the entrance. There is a side window that has a reset stone above it, originally from the site of the old Manor, which features medieval carving of crossed swords in relief. The stone also bears the date 1750, along with the initials 'AS' and a heart, believed to have been added when the stone was removed. The house is set back from the street in an embanked garden.
