Description

Number 1 and the adjoining barn are a house and barn from the 18th century. They are built from coursed rubble stone, featuring quoins and stone dressings, topped with a hipped roof made of Collyweston slate. The roof has a brick stack on the left and a moulded stone stack on the rear wing. The building stands 2½ storeys high and has two 2-light casements above a combination of a 1-light casement, a 2-light casement, a part-glazed door, and another 1-light casement. There are also two 2-light dormers. A wing projects to the rear on the right, and attached to this is the barn, which has a Welsh slate roof and a door with two loft doors above.
