Description
The Statue of Sir F H Royce is a Grade II listed conventional bronze statue commemorating the pioneer of the motor car and partner of C S Rolls. Created by the artist Derwent Wood R A in 1921, it stands on a stone pedestal base. The statue was originally installed in the Arboretum in 1923, moved to the Riverside Gardens in 1972, and then relocated to Victory Road in 1990.
