Description

The gate piers at Denison Hall are a pair of early 19th-century structures made of ashlar stone. Each pier stands approximately 2 meters high and has a square section. They feature a plinth, monolithic shafts with an incised panel, and a pedimented capstone. These piers were likely erected for George Rawson, the owner of Denison Hall, who sold the surrounding land in 1823. They are included in the listing for their group value.
