Description
The ha-ha, located approximately 15 metres south of Clifford Moor Farmhouse, is likely from around 1830, the same period as the farmhouse. It is constructed from coursed rubble magnesian limestone and features a retaining wall that is about 1 to 1.5 metres high. The wall follows a shallow curve and stretches for approximately 80 metres across the front of the farmhouse. It is topped with larger stone blocks, and there are stone steps leading across the ditch on the left side of the house. This structure is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
