Description

Nos 17 to 21 Clapgate is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Clapgate. It is three storeys tall and constructed of stone. The facade features two windows on the upper floors, which do not have glazing bars, and a band that continues across the cills. On the first floor, there are two windows, one of which is a rectangular bay. The building has a late 19th-century shop front with thin pilasters and a modillion eaves cornice. There is a kneeler on the left side. This property is part of a group that includes Nos 15 to 27 Clapgate.
