Description
Number 12, New Fold, is part of a terrace built in the early to mid 19th century, though it may have an earlier origin. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and hammer dressed stone, with the south side rendered. It features a plinth and tabling on the east gable, along with some quoins. The roof is made of stone slate.
On the north elevation, there are quoins at both the ground and first floors. The ground floor has a single 4-light stone mullioned window, while the first floor features a 3-light window. The second floor includes one 3-light window and one 2-light window. On the south elevation, the ground floor has a panelled door, and both the first and second floors have one 2-light stone mullioned window each.
