Description
Nos 1 and 3 and Nos 2 and 3 on New Row are part of a terrace with underdwellings, built in the early to mid 19th century. The buildings are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature a stone slate roof with gable coping on the northeast side and stone brackets. There is a stone gutter on the northwest side. The northwest elevation has three entrances and three single light windows, with part of it serving as a shop frontage. Each of the first, second, and third floors has three single light windows. The southeast elevation consists of three terraced dwellings, each with an entrance and a three-light window on the ground floor, along with two five-light windows and one four-light window on the first floor. There are also two further blocked lights.
